Feb. 28

Well I haven't posted anything on here for a few weeks so I thought I'd post an update. I just went to the doctor today and nothing too exciting is going on. I'm dilated a fingertip but that's it. I go back next Friday, the 7th, to the doctor and my due date is the 9th so hopefully something will be happening next week when I'm there. I'm not too uncomfortable yet, I just hate getting up 50 times in the middle of the night to pee! (and yes everyone tells me it's just my body preparing me for the baby but it's still annoying ha!) Jake and I are getting more impatient everyday but we just try to stay busy and that seems to help pass the time. Well this will probably be the last time I post anything until the baby gets here so hopefully you all hear from us soon!!!

Ultrasound at 36 weeks

Well we went in today for our appointment and everything seems to be going really well. They did an ultrasound and the baby isn't breeched! It's measuring right on and she said it approximately weighs 6 pounds right now. As you can see from the pictures it has a chubby little round face already and it actually does have some hair. The nurse could see what the sex of the baby was but we didn't find out (even though Jake was dying to know). Other then that I'm not dilated or effaced at all so I'll be back at the doctor next Friday. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

First Post

Well here is our first post! We still have about 4 1/2 weeks to go till the baby is actually due but once the baby is here we'll be sure to get pictures up here as soon as we can. As of right now I'm feeling pretty good. I go in this Friday for an ultrasound because the baby seems to be breeched. They just want to confirm that it is breeched and then they'll continue to watch it each week, hopefully the little guy or girl will turn on it's own and soon! Other then that we are just patiently waiting...
