June 15th - Father's Day

We had a pretty relaxing Father's Day. Pretty much just stayed home and hung out with Cruz. Here's a few pictures, as you can see the 3 boys spent some of the day napping:)

June 14th

Ok I finally got my videos downloaded from that first night we fed Cruz cereal. As you can tell he wasn't very happy at first but then he got the hang of it...

June 9th - Cereal

Well tonight Jake and I decided we were gonna try to start giving Cruzer cereal before bed. I asked a lot of people and did a lot of research online and there were so many opinions out there. Some people said don't start till 4 months or 6 months, and some people said they started at 8 weeks. Since he'll be 3 months on Wednesday we figured we'd go ahead and try it. He didn't do good at first, I think he was just too hungry and was frustrated so we gave him his bottle first and then tried the cereal again after his bottle and he loved it. At first he kept sucking his thumb every time we'd get food in his mouth but he got the hang of it eventually. Here's a few photos!

June 8th

Here are a few pictures from this weekend. We took Cruz to Hooters for his first time at lunch on Saturday since it wasn't busy or smoky in there. Both Jake & I love Hooters wings so it's actually surprising we waited 3 months to take him there for the first time:)

June 5th

June 1st

Well yesterday we had a BBQ in our back yard with the guys Jake works with. The first guy got here at 11am and the last person left at midnight so it was a long day but we had a lot of fun. It was a beautiful day out so we set up chairs in the back yard under the trees so we'd be in the shade and we spent the whole day outside, Cruz loved it. Plus Tucker loved it because he got so much attention, and food, from everyone. Also one of the guys brought over his 4 month old boxer so him and Tucker played all day long. I haven't seen Tucker that exhausted for awhile:) Anyways here are a couple pictures from the BBQ.

Cruz is finally figuring out how to use his hands. He's been constantly putting him in his mouth for the last week or so but just yesterday he started to control them more and was able to hit his toys that were in front of him. I swear he does something new everyday! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
