Game Day!!!

Cruz is so excited to watch the Huskers tonight!!! Surprisingly he was in a pretty good mood today after we were at Urgent Care this morning and found out he has croup. That stuff is nasty, especially at night. They also weighed him there and he weighs 17 lbs 9 oz already. What a big boy. Go Huskers!!!

August 16th - First Trip To The Ocean

We decided to take Cruz down to see the ocean for the first time today. He fell asleep on the way there so he looks a little sleepy in the photos. He really liked digging his feet in the sand and standing close to the water so the waves would come up and cover his feet.

Jake got home late last night, we're so happy he's finally home! Cruz has really mastered sitting up by himself in the past few days. He'll sit and play for a couple minutes and then he'll fall over. Jake's parents and brother, Heath, are coming on Monday for a visit. Here's some pictures and a video from the beach...

August 11th - 5 months old

Cruzer is 5 months old today, crazy huh. He's becoming such a big boy already. I think he grows before my eyes sometimes! My mom got here on Friday so Cruz and I have really been enjoying her company! She leaves on Wednesday and Jake should hopefully be home on Friday. Here's a few pictures from the past few days...

August 2nd

Here's a few pictures from the last few days. He's found his feet and his new favorite thing is to suck on his toes. Another thing he's started to do is to sit in his bumbo seat next to his toy box and I move a toy close to the edge, he grabs it, throws it on the ground and then goes back for a different toy out of the toy box. As you can see all the toys end up on the floor around him, but hey whatever entertains him right!

Well Jake's almost been gone a week and we're still surviving:) Jake has internet in his room there so he's able to see Cruz at least once a day on the webcam so I think that's helping Jake out a lot:) That webcam is gonna be a life saver for him when he's gone for 6 months in Iraq! I'll put up some videos later today or tomorrow.
