Well we made it over to Grandma Aufenkamp's on Christmas day. Then we made it to Grandpa & Grandma Walkenhorst's on Saturday afternoon. The highway was pretty bad from Fremont to Cedar so we ended up all staying in Cedar on Saturday night instead of trying to drive that highway back home in the dark. Cruz wasn't really into opening his presents this year but he is definitely enjoying playing with all his toys. He got so much stuff that Jake & I are already thinking we didn't buy a big enough house if every Christmas is gonna be like this:) We still have one more Christmas to go to at my Aunt's house, it was supposed to be on Christmas Day but we've rescheduled to New Years Day due to the weather. Hopefully by then things will have calmed down and we won't get any more snow between now and then! Below are some pictures form the past two days. I hope everyone had a safe and merry Christmas!

Merry Chirstmas!!!

Well I wanted to post a quick picture and video from Cruz this morning. He got a big bounce house from Santa that he's been playing in all morning and absolutely loves it:) For those of you that don't know or don't live in Nebraska we got a huge blizzard last night and are snowed in right now. We're gonna try to make it a few blocks to Jake's mom later this afternoon, hopefully we can make it! Anyways being snowed in has given him more time to play so it hasn't been all that bad. I'll post more pictures from all of our Christmas' after this weekend is over. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Hello everyone! I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner! I finally got my Christmas cards sent out and my Christmas shopping done so I think I'm finally ready for Christmas to be here. I do have to say it's so nice to be here for the holidays, to be able to shop for anything and everything and not have to worry about shipping it back to Nebraska or buying something small enough to fit in a suitcase! Now if only I could figure out a way to bring that North Carolina weather to Nebraska right now it would be perfect:) Anyways, I hope every one has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

I've been watching Theresa and Aaron's little boy, Kane, for a few hours a day so here's a picture of Cruz practicing to be a big brother some day. He's always asking to hold him, it's so cute:)
