August 16th - First Trip To The Ocean

We decided to take Cruz down to see the ocean for the first time today. He fell asleep on the way there so he looks a little sleepy in the photos. He really liked digging his feet in the sand and standing close to the water so the waves would come up and cover his feet.

Jake got home late last night, we're so happy he's finally home! Cruz has really mastered sitting up by himself in the past few days. He'll sit and play for a couple minutes and then he'll fall over. Jake's parents and brother, Heath, are coming on Monday for a visit. Here's some pictures and a video from the beach...

August 11th - 5 months old

Cruzer is 5 months old today, crazy huh. He's becoming such a big boy already. I think he grows before my eyes sometimes! My mom got here on Friday so Cruz and I have really been enjoying her company! She leaves on Wednesday and Jake should hopefully be home on Friday. Here's a few pictures from the past few days...
