May 27th - Bath Time

We actually had the camera close by tonight when Cruz decided he wanted to show off his big cheese smile. He smiles like this all the time but never when a camera is in his face, go figure! My favorite is when he smiles like the 2nd picture down on the left.:)

May 26th - Happy Memorial Day

It's been a beautiful weekend here and we've done a lot of relaxing around the house. We finally got my mother's day present this weekend, a swing to put on our porch! There's a picture of the three of us sitting on it below. Cruz loves to be outside whether it's in his stroller on a walk or sitting out on the swing. He's still sleeping through the night, it's so nice! He usually goes to bed around 8 and gets up around 6 or 7. He's done it 4 nights in a row now so hopefully him sleeping through the night isn't just a fluke thing:) Anyways not much new here with us, hope everyone had a great Memorial Day!!!

May 23rd

He slept through the night! He slept through the night! He slept through the night! Last night Cruz went to bed at 8 and he didn't wake up till 6 this morning!!! I'm so excited:) I hope he continues to sleep through the night now. We figured it wasn't gonna be long before he slept through the night because he had been going all night without a bottle for awhile now. He just had to figure out how to put himself back to sleep when he woke up in the middle of the night. We were having to get up 2 or 3 times a night to give him his passy or sometimes even rock him back to sleep. So after 10 long weeks of interrupted sleep we finally got a good nights rest:) Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day!!!

May 22nd - Cruz & Bob

Here are a couple pictures of Cruz and Bob. (the stoller is called "the bob"). For the first time today he actually enjoyed being in the stroller, I'm so excited! It's a running stroller so I went for a run with him earlier today and then Jake and I just got done going on a walk with him and he did so good both times. He just looks around and babbles to himself, it's so cute:) Now I'll be able to run during the day instead of waiting till Jake gets home in the evenings cause all I really want to do in the evenings is hang out at home with Jake and Cruz so usually my running would get pushed off till the next day lol. Not anymore:) Hope everyone has a good long weekend!!!

May 18th

We had a very fun visit from my mom and my aunts this last week. They were here Wednesday through Sunday so Cruz, needless to say, got very spoiled:) We had such a good time with them down here, it's always nice to have visitors out here but always sad when they have to leave. Cruz was such a trooper when they were here, we were on the go a lot between going to the beach, going shopping and of course checking out all the local restaurants:) and he was so good the entire time. Thank you Mom, June, Jacci and Jill for everything this weekend, we had so much fun with you guys and we miss you already!!! (June & Jill be ready to win our 9th straight game of pitch when we come home in June. Jacci, Jake and my mom are going down again! HaHa!)

Either tomorrow or Tuesday Jake has to fly down to Key West for work to fix one of their jets that broke down there. Hopefully he's only gone for a couple days, I guess this will only help prepare me for when he goes to Iraq in September or October.

Anyways I posted some pictures from this last week below and I'll write more later!

May 15th - Suprise Visit

Well yesterday Cruz had his 2 month check up. He weighs 11lbs 3ozs and is 23 inches long. He's in the 50% for his weight and the 75% for his height. After his appointment we headed to the airport to pick up my mom, little did I know that her three sisters all came along with her to surprise us! So Cruz finally got to meet his crazy great aunts:) They'll be here till Sunday so I'll have pictures by Monday of their visit. And they are staying down at Emeral Isle on the ocean so hopefully we can get a shot of Cruz seeing the ocean for the first time! More later...

May 10th - 2 months

Cruz will be 2 months tomorrow so Jake and I had some fun with the camera today and took his 2 month pictures here at home. If he's smiling after he wakes up from his nap I might post more later!
