Cruz helped me decorate some sugar cookies today. He started out doing really good until he realized he could eat the cookies! By the end we ended up with just pieces of cookies but at least he had fun doing it:)

Super Cruzer!

We had a fun Halloween this year with Cruz. Last year Jake was in Iraq and Cruz & I were in North Carolina so we didn't even really celebrate Halloween so this was a nice change:) Cruz caught on to trick or treating very quickly, he'd go to someone's door, say "trick or treat", get his candy and then say "thank you" and he was done and ready to go to the next house. (Not sure if that was because he just wanted to get back to the van to watch more Elmo between stops or if he really wanted to hit as many houses as possible:)) Anyways we had a lot of fun and couldn't of asked for better weather! Here's a few pictures of our little Superman or "Super Cruzer" like we called him. Grandpa Aufenkamp always called him Super Cruzer since he was born so we thought it was pretty fitting for this year. Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!

I can't believe it's October already! Time has really flown ever since we got back to Nebraska. I don't have a lot to write on here but I wanted to post a few pictures and a video. The pictures were from the pumpkin patch this week. And the video is just a random evening at home. Hopefully I'll have more time to write later on! Hope everyone has a great weekend:)

Family Pictures

We had family pictures with the Aufenkamp side of the family on Sunday so I wanted to post a few of the pictures on here. With Jake's dad not doing very well his mom wanted to get one more family picture before anything happened to him. Well we got them just in time because on Monday night we got that dreaded middle of the night phone call and they thought Britt was leaving us. He held on and is still fighting at this point, everyone keeps telling him it's ok to go because we hate to see him suffer like this but he just won't let go.
