Surgery Day

Surgery went really good this morning. We had to be there at 6:30 and they finally took him back for surgery around 8:00 and by 8:15 the doctor was out telling us he did really good. I guess he didn't cry or fuss when they put him under and then we weren't back there yet when he came out of it but I guess he kept wanting to go from nurse to nurse until he found one that he liked and then he sat with her till we got in there. By the time we got back there we couldn't' even tell he had been out, he was up talking and of course wanting to eat and drink. They put some drops and ointment on the eye after surgery but we can already tell it's 100% better. No more green gunk coming out of it, yay! You can put my sock on over the thing around my toe but there's still a cord hanging out so I know something's not right here:)
